Espacio - "When sound is mixed with flavor"
September 20th marked the launch of one of the freshest jazz-funk groups in all of the Central Valley! It's amazing to think that I almost missed this event just in order to attend another engagement, what a mistake that would have been in the end.
Without too much practice and plenty of moxie to accompany them, these four artist banged out some of the sickest sounds that I've heard in quite a while. Each musician is dope on their own; however, when they are coupled with each other you can immediately taste the flavor with your ears!
The audio is a bit grimy to start off with but just close your eyes and allow yourself to drift...
